My Practice
I have been practicing and honing my craft for more than 25 years, so at this point my “doctor’s bag” holds “equipment” for practically every mode of our work, from more pragmatic cognitive behavioral therapy, to play therapy, to deep psychoanalytic dives, and any conceivable combinations that might be called for. Anything that works.
I work in English and Russian. Being bilingual, I understand the intertwining of tongues and cultures of the world.
To be poetic:
Every person is a universe with its own laws of physics, and any possibility of change and happiness can be only framed within those, though in the cause of our work those laws themselves are often transformed.
What is the difference between a deep, supportive conversation with a wise, understanding, loving friend and a session? My skill is to intuitively perceive what is beyond what is said, or otherwise overtly related in the room, those infra-reds and ultra-violets of a narrative or interaction. When we both know something we can start thinking together about it.
To be pragmatic:
I’ve worked with and can help with professional burnout, or high stress work situation particularly in the areas of finance or tech, and/or at the opposite end of spectrum, with a creative block of any kind, anxiety, depression, serious trauma including intergenerational trauma, personality disorders, eating disorders, relationship or sexual issues. Often I just help a person to find themself. I work with people from around the globe and have experience with hybrid multicultural, multilingual landscapes as well as what changing countries entails. I also help young people facilitate adulting; similar to moving into a new world.
I work in person and remotely or in a hybrid modality.
